wargames: the return

Helen Slater’s role as a Supergirl in 1884 was the very first action/sci-fi movie I’m impressed with at my very innocent age. I think I was only 6 year old then when I first watched and learn to appreciate whenever she comes down to Earth and involve herself in a fight against the evil forces of the jealous Selena (Faye Dunaway). Even until today, the concept and the storyline of that film still lingers in my mind and now every time I shop for a movie, good sci-fi films are always on my list.
Well, talking about movies of the 80’s, here’s a big come back of 1983’s box office sci-fi thriller film, WarGames by Lawrence Lasker and Walter F. Parkes, starred by Matthew Broderick, the hacker who using his vintage microcomputer and modem performs automated searches to invade private systems to prove his wit. This time the WarGames event is playing a one-night presentation on the 24th of July at selected movie theaters. So if I were you, you better get a ticket reservation now because I’m sure you don’t wanna miss watching the never-before-seen interviews with the film makers and the main stars themselves, Broderick and Ally Sheedy. Plus a sneak peek at the making of the sequel – WarGames: The Dead Code. So how’s that for a bonus?
