Was watching the local TV news earlier around 7:00 pm (Philippine time) and got surprised with the world news segment report disclosing the world's cheapest car unveiled by Tata Motors Ltd., India's top vehicle maker. The new four-door, subcompact Nano car can be everyone's car at a dealer price of 100, 000 rupees or about US $2, 500.
The car, a hatchback with a 624cc engine, is priced at about half that of the current cheapest car in the market, and is a sharp contrast to the luxury Jaguar and Land Rover brands. An ultra cheap price tag would probably bring car ownership into the reach of tens of millions of people across the globe
